I N T R O D U C T I O N

The brief for this project called for an extension to a 1980s family home in West Clare.

The site is located outside a small village and is separated from the Atlantic Ocean by a stretch of rolling agricultural land to the west of the site.

The house is primarily orientated towards the road and our aim was to reconnect it with the landscape it had effectively turned its back on.

The project is due for completion in 2010.
