The house is entered from the east side where a glazed gap is cut through the house opening into a west facing wintergarden which connects the living and kitchen areas.
The volumes of the house allow different spatial qualities be experienced as the ceiling heights change from a 4.5 m high wintergarden sloping down into a 2.5 m high living room .
The staggered volumes allow for a kitchen garden between the living and dining area and a sheltered courtyard at the rear behind the office space.
Bedrooms are tucked into the east wing of the house with a master bedroom occupying the upper volume on the west side with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
